Ed Randall

Ed Randall is Field CTO at SoftServe, working with technology leaders across verticals to shape and advise on the delivery of modern digital platforms.

Drawing on experience in engineering, architecture and product strategy, he advises organisations on how to apply emerging technologies in a cost effective and secure manner.

Ed’s work often involves advising on cloud transformation, platform modernisation, process enablement and the integration of AI based solutions within large scale operations.

With over 25 years of information technology experience overall, Ed has held senior roles across a variety of sectors including financial services, retail, defence, education, and data platforms.

Before SoftServe, Ed served as Technical Product Director at JP Morgan Chase, leading data platform enablement to support the complex needs of the firm’s Commercial and Investment Bank. In this role, he drove the adoption of modern database technologies and partnered with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient data solutions for high-volume, mission-critical financial systems.

At Neo4j, Ed served as a Technical Product Manager, combining his deep technical expertise with a passion for delivering solutions in hyperscale public cloud. He focused on helping customers unlock the value of connected data by making Neo4j simple to deploy and quick to adopt. His responsibilities included Neo4j deployment, software packaging, cloud marketplace listings, and Helm Chart offerings.

Prior to this, Ed spent seven years at Rackspace Technology as a Lead Engineer and Senior Consulting Architect, working with a global customer base. He led the technical delivery of complex projects spanning the full Rackspace portfolio, with a particular focus on solutions built on the three major hyperscale cloud platforms, alongside Rackspace’s in-house hosting solutions.
